My mom's 5-minute balcony comment made me rethink my whole setup

She visited last Sunday and looked at my tiny 6-foot balcony and said "you've got plants but no place to sit and enjoy them" and honestly that hit different. I've been so focused on growing herbs and peppers in every square inch that I forgot the whole point is relaxing out there. So I pulled out a folding chair, moved 3 pots onto a wall shelf I got for $12 at a thrift store, and now I actually sip coffee among the tomatoes. Has anyone else sacrificed growing space for seating and regretted it or loved it?
