My coworker's hanging planter suggestion was a total win for my balcony
She saw my crowded setup and told me to go vertical with some cheap hooks, lmao. Now I'm growing peppers and basil without any floor space issues. How do you all deal with limited balcony room?

What made your coworker suggest hooks instead of other vertical options, and did she show you her own balcony first? Seeing a real setup can really help you picture it working. I wonder if those cheap hooks are strong enough for wet soil and full grown plants. Have you checked them regularly to make sure they're still secure? What's your backup plan if one fails?
