Remember my friend Jess made a cheesecake that cracked so bad she poured caramel over it and called it "rustic." Honestly @stella_foster is right though, adding something on top fixes everything and nobody knows the difference. So honestly just cover it with whatever you've got and call it intentional.

lol I actually like when my cheesecake cracks, I know most people hate it but I think it adds character. "map of the Nile delta" is a hilarious way to describe it though. The cracks just mean you baked it properly and didn't overmix the batter or open the door like a monster. Plus once you slap some fruit compote or ganache on top nobody even notices the cracks anyway. So I say wear that cracked cheesecake like a badge of honor, it still tastes the same.
