I stopped sifting flour after 15 years, nobody could tell the difference
I used to sift everything twice for cakes and muffins until my sister said her boxed mix cake tasted the same as mine, so I tried skipping it completely one Sunday and the texture was identical. Has anyone else ditched a classic step and gotten away with it?
