Hit my 100th failed macaron batch yesterday
Been trying to make French macarons for 6 months straight. Batch number 100 came out with hollow shells and wrinkled feet again. How many tries did it take you to finally get that perfect batch?

Batch 98 for me was the one where I was so mad I threw the entire tray into the sink. Turned out my oven runs 20 degrees hotter than what the dial says, so all my real temp guesses were wrong. Hundredth batch though that's some serious dedication or maybe just pure stubbornness.
