Figured out the freezer trick for pie crust after 15 years of struggling
I always had trouble with my pie crust shrinking in the pan no matter what I did. Last month I tried freezing the rolled out dough for 20 minutes before putting it in the dish and it held its shape perfectly. Has anyone else had luck with a weird little trick like that?

Freezing the dough first just to keep it from shrinking is like spending 15 years wrestling with a wet blanket before realizing you can just put it in the fridge. I tried this last Thanksgiving after my crust turned into a frisbee mid-bake. Works like a charm, but now I have to plan my pie crust a whole day ahead like it's some kind of fancy dinner party.

Wish I could plan anything a whole day ahead without forgetting and eating it for breakfast.
