that wednesday from hell two weeks ago

Had a catering order for 200 croissants due by noon and my commercial mixer decided to die on me at 6am. Spent the first hour hand kneading 15 pounds of dough while on hold with the repair guy. He showed up at 9 and fixed a $45 belt but I was already 2 hours behind. Somehow pulled it off by 11:45 but my forearms were screaming for 3 days. Has anyone else had a piece of equipment fail at the worst possible time?

Yeah all that drama over a $45 part and some sore arms?

That $45 part is probably just the tip of the iceberg though. Labor adds up fast especially if a shop has to do the job. And sore arms can turn into something worse if a tendon gets messed up. People act like body parts are cheap to fix too, but physical therapy bills are way more than $45.
