That bakery in Portland that won't let you smell the bread before buying

Stopped into Little T's Bake Shop downtown last Saturday and the owner actually told me to stop sniffing the sourdough loaves before I picked one out. She said the smell 'confuses the customer' and I should just trust the crust color. Am I the only one who thinks smelling bread is half the reason to buy it fresh?

lmao my boy did that and got the saddest brown mush inside
