My brother's cookie habit is eating my budget

He asks for batches every week. I pay for everything myself. How can I get him to chip in?

Doubt cookies are that pricey. Just have him chip in for ingredients.

Double down on the quality argument. Cheap butter is mostly water and cheap chocolate uses too much sugar, so you end up with flat, grainy cookies that just taste sweet. Better to ask him to split the cost of the good stuff and save everyone from wasting time on mediocre desserts.
