Rant: My rooster decided to challenge the mail truck this morning

So I'm out back filling the waterer around 7 AM, and my rooster, Colonel Cluck, spots the mail truck coming down the street. Dude puffs up, does his little war dance, and full-on charges the fence right as the truck rumbles past. He hit the hardware cloth so hard he bounced back and landed in the water trough I'd just filled. Now I'm soaking wet, the chickens are screaming, and the mail carrier gave me a thumbs up through the window. Anyone else have a bird that picks fights with inanimate objects 3 times its size?

Used to roll my eyes at people posting about "the universe sending signs" or whatever but my mail guy literally gave me a thumbs up the same week I was stressing about a big decision. Ngl it felt kinda nice. Made me think maybe there's something to it after all.
