I blew $260 on an automatic coop door and it saved my flock twice this winter
Best money I ever spent on my setup, no lie. Last month a fox got into the yard at 5am and that door was already shut, while my neighbor in Denver lost three hens the same week because he still does it by hand. Anyone else running one of these, or am I just lucky so far?
Sounds like that fox just needed to check the time before heading out. Must be nice having a bouncer for the coop while your neighbor plays chicken roulette every night.
