Hit 100 eggs from my 4 hens and I was shocked
I started tracking just for fun last March and my little flock hit 100 eggs by August. Turns out my Barred Rock, Dorothy, laid 43 of them by herself. Anyone else keep an egg tally and get surprised by one bird's output?

43 eggs from one hen sounds like she's trying to pay rent. Dorothy is definitely carrying the team while the other three are out there living the freeloader life. Guess you found your top producer without even trying.

Honestly, that reminds me of this time my buddy had a beagle that would somehow find and bury every single sock in the house under the couch cushions. Like, we're talking 30 socks in a week. Dorothy is putting in that same kind of overtime, just with eggs instead of laundry. The other three hens probably think they're on vacation or something. Ngl, I bet they're all sitting around judging her work ethic from the dust bath.
