Can we talk about how I lost 3 hens to a raccoon because of those 'predator proof' automatic coop doors?
Paid $150 for one of those automatic coop doors last month after reading all the glowing reviews, and 3 weeks later a raccoon figured out how to shove its paw through the side gap and pull the latch open from inside.

The raccoon didn't "pull the latch from inside" though. Those doors latch on the outside. Your bird likely pushed it open from inside or the raccoon got in another way.
