The promised waterfall on the Maple Creek route was a trickle.

Our basement flood last spring taught me the hard way. First thing you gotta do is shut off the main water line, it's usually near the street or your water meter. Then get a wet/dry vac from the hardware store and start pulling water for hours. After that it's all about fans and dehumidifiers running non-stop for like a week to stop the mold lol.
