Spent $80 on a down sleeping bag quilt from a no-name brand

Thought I was saving money for a summer trip. First night out it got down to 50F and I froze. No baffles, all the feathers shifted to one side. Total waste. Anyone else get burned by cheap gear like this?

Man, that sucks. Did you check the specs BEFORE buying or just roll the dice on the price tag? I swear half these no-name brands just stuff random feathers in a bag and call it a quilt.

Kinda have to agree honestly. Bought one of those cheap amazon throws last winter and it was like sleeping under a pile of stiff straw. The tag said "duck down" but pretty sure it was just ground up quills and regret. Spend $30 extra on a known brand and your neck will thank you.
