I finally hit 500 consecutive landings without a single avionics fault flag

Everybody talks about flight hours or wiring certs as the big milestones, but for me it was nailing 500 landings in a row with zero system errors on the G1000. Most guys chase mods and upgrades, but I say reliability that consistent matters more than any fancy retrofit. Anybody else track something dumb like this instead of the usual numbers?

Wait, 500 landings with zero avionics faults? No way. That's insane. Half the time I power up my G1000 I get some random database error or air data flag before I even leave the ramp. You must have some kind of lucky charm or you're just that good at preflighting. Seriously, congrats. That's way more impressive to me than bragging about a new panel.

@angela890 nailed it - that's the real flex right there. It's funny how we obsess over the flashy stuff when the boring consistency is what actually keeps us alive. I've started tracking something similar with my truck, just for kicks - how many days I can go without the check engine light coming on. Hit 67 once before I accidentally put diesel in it. But honestly, it's the same principle. Most people chase the big milestones because they're easy to brag about, but 500 landings without a single fault? That takes real discipline, not just luck. You've got a steady hand and probably a preflight checklist that would make the FAA blush. Keep it up, man. That kind of reliability beats any panel upgrade I've ever seen.
