Hit 500 perfect terminal crimps in one shift yesterday
I was just doing my normal thing rewiring a King Air panel and I counted them up at the end of the day... five hundred crimps without a single bad one. That's got to be some kind of personal record for consistency, right? Has anyone else ever kept track of a clean streak like that?

Call me crazy but I don't get why you'd keep count in the first place. If you're doing your job right every crimp should be perfect, shouldn't it? 500 is a solid number but it's not like you missed any, so what's the big deal about hitting a round number? Maybe I'm just not impressed by things that are supposed to happen anyway. You tracking them for a reason or just bored?

Hey @victor_perry90 you calling me crazy? Fair enough, I probably am. I started counting because my last job I had a bad streak of like 10 bad crimps in a row and my boss made me redo a whole harness, so now I count to keep myself honest. Hitting 500 felt good but honestly it just means I didn't screw up anything that day, which is more of a happy accident than a skill. I'm the same guy who once crimped a wire to my own finger by accident, so any clean streak feels like a minor miracle. Trust me, I'm not impressed by me either.
