Had to pick between a $300 crimper and a $80 one for a big harness job on a King Air. Went with the cheap one.

Went with the cheap one" is exactly what I would have done a few years ago. I used to believe the expensive tool was always the right call for a professional job. But then I had a cheap crimper outlast an expensive brand name one on a long project. Now I wonder if we're just paying for the name half the time.
