Got a stubborn radio static cleared up with just a spray of contact cleaner
It was driving me nuts during pre-flight checks. How do you guys handle persistent audio noise?

Figure out exactly which connections you sprayed with the cleaner. Sometimes hitting the headphone jack alone isn't enough if the problem is deeper in the audio panel. That static is such a common headache. Honestly, I wonder if that fix holds up long-term or if the noise just comes back.

Ugh, static is the worst. I tried that spray fix on an old radio once and I'm pretty sure I made it worse. Ended up with this weird buzzing that sounded like a angry bee stuck in there. My repair skills are basically just turning things off and back on again. Do you ever just make a problem more interesting instead of actually fixing it?
