Rant: I paid $45 for a shop to change my oil last month and I feel like a traitor

I've done my own oil changes in my driveway in Cleveland for about 8 years, but last month I was coming off three 12 hour night shifts and just paid a shop $45 to do it instead. Part of me says my time is worth more than the 40 minutes of crawling around on cold concrete, and the other part says I just handed over control and probably got a cheap filter I didn't pick. So where do you all draw the line, what jobs do you farm out even though you could do them yourself?
