My neighbor said my jack stands were on the frame rail, not the pinch weld, and I've been doing it wrong for 4 years
He pointed it out while I was pulling the front wheels off my Civic last Saturday and showed me the little notch where the stand actually goes. Now I do a quick look underneath every time before I let the car down, takes like 5 seconds. Anyone else learn a basic safety thing way later than they want to admit?
