Anti-seize on lug nuts is a myth, I finally learned why

Used anti-seize on every wheel install for 8 years until my buddy's torque wrench read 30 ft-lbs high after a 300 mile trip last month. Turns out the paste changes the clamping force so much that the whole torque spec is off, has anyone else ditched it and gone back to dry threads?

Yep, ditched it last year after the same discovery. Torque specs are calculated for clean, dry threads and the paste throws everything off. Grease or nothing for me now.
