The lot guy at a Phoenix auction yard showed me how they load 9 cars into one trailer
I was at an auction yard outside Phoenix last month picking up a sedan and watched a crew load a trailer for about an hour. What got me was how they stack the top deck: they run the ramps at a steep angle and one guy spots the tires the whole way up, hand signals only, no shouting. They fit 9 cars on that rig, and the last one went on with maybe two inches of clearance on each side. The spotter kept tapping the fender so the driver knew where the edge was. Made me think about how many cars get banged up before they even leave the lot, so how do you all check for lot damage before signing off on a pickup?
