I thought enclosed transport was a rip off until my neighbor in Phoenix broke it down for me
Last month I was about to book open transport for my Camry from Phoenix to Denver and my neighbor Dale, who ships classic cars for a living, asked me one thing about hail damage on I-25 in July. He said he has seen 4 cars totaled on that route in the last 2 summers, which made the extra $400 for enclosed feel like nothing. Has anyone here actually had a car damaged in open transport, or is Dale just scaring me into paying more?
