Finally locked down a steady route with the same dispatcher after 3 months of chaos
Last month I was stuck in a jam near the Atlanta terminal waiting for a load. My usual dispatcher kept bouncing me between random brokers and I missed two pickups in a row. Then a guy named Frank from the next bay over told me to stick with one freight broker who runs the Southeast corridor. I tried it with TQL for a few weeks and now I get consistent loads out of Charlotte every Tuesday. Has anyone else found a single dispatcher that actually keeps the freight flowing?

Sticking with one dispatcher sounds good until they go on vacation or get reassigned and you're left scrambling. TQL is fine until they start favoring drivers who run cheaper loads and yours get pushed to the back of the line. One guy's reliability can turn into a bottleneck real quick if that relationship ever sours.
