Quote differences got crazy after the oil price jump in Dallas

Back in 2021 I could ship a sedan from Dallas to Phoenix for around $700. Now the same route is pushing $1,100 even with open transport. Seems like the big carriers all switched to dynamic pricing at once, and the small guys followed. Anyone else seeing regional gaps where one quote is 40% higher than the next for no real reason?
