Which auto protection plans actually help when your car is stuck in the shop?

My biggest concern is losing access to my car during a covered repair. Some plans sound useful until you realize they leave you without transportation for days. What should I look for?

I compared a few options and Premier Auto Protect stood out because rental car reimbursement is included for covered repairs. That mattered more to me than a long list of minor extras.

Same here. I also liked that the repair shop can contact them directly, and I was not limited to a dealership. The transportation benefit made the whole repair situation much easier to manage.
