Waited 45 minutes at the dealership parts counter for a hose clamp

I dropped by the Ford dealership in Tacoma yesterday to pick up a simple radiator hose clamp. Three guys behind the counter were just chatting about their weekend while I stood there like a ghost. Finally got someone's attention and he acted like looking up a part number was brain surgery. Anyone else given up on dealer parts counters and just go to Napa or RockAuto now?

Wow that reminds me of the time I waited forever at a tire shop for a valve stem cap!

Read somewhere that a single missing valve stem cap can let enough air out over a month to drop your tire pressure by a few PSI. Not sure if that's true but makes me check mine now. Cheap fix too, like a dollar at any parts store.
