Unpopular opinion: the "check for spark first" advice wasted 5 hours on a no-start
Everyone says start with spark, but on this 2007 Corolla the real culprit was a clogged fuel filter, and I only found it after pulling all four plugs and testing the coil pack twice. 5 hours gone because I listened to the forum instead of just cracking the fuel line first. Anyone else think the diagnostic order people push online is backwards for these older Toyotas?
