Torque wrench calibration, I trusted it for way too long

I used the same old beam-style torque wrench for like 6 years on everything, head bolts and all. Took a class down at Rankin Tech last month and the instructor had us check ours against a digital unit. Mine was reading 10 ft-lbs light at 80 ft-lbs, so I'd been under-tightening all that time. Anyone else ever ran a rig that long before checking the calibration on it?
