Swapped out my old timing light for a digital one and it changed everything

I been using this beat up old timing light from the 90s for years on customer cars, figured it was fine. Finally grabbed a digital one last week to set the timing on a 350 SBC and dialed it in perfect in like 2 minutes flat. Anybody else notice a big difference switching to digital tools or is it just me?

Grabbed a digital one last year for my own project car and yeah, it's night and day. The old analog one was always a guessing game with the needle bouncing around. The digital reads rock solid and doesn't care if the garage lights are dim. Saves a lot of cussing for sure.

Funny how that works, right? Once you switch to something that takes the guesswork out, you start noticing other places where we're still stuck in the past. Like my buddy still using a paper map when his phone has GPS, or my dad refusing to replace his old busted thermostat with a programmable one. The tech exists to make life easier but half the time we just keep cussing at the old stuff out of habit lol.
