Pro tip: stop using the wrong grease on wheel bearings

I keep seeing guys at the shop pack wheel bearings with regular lithium chassis grease, not the high-temp stuff. Watched a truck come back with a seized hub after a 200 mile highway trip. What's the best brand you've found for heavy duty work?

Man, that's a rough way to learn a lesson, huh? I stick with Lucas Red 'N' Tacky for my truck, it's held up great. That high-temp rating is no joke on long hauls.

Yeah, I saw a forum thread where a guy tested a bunch of greases on a bearing rig. The Red 'N' Tacky barely bled any oil out after a full week in the heat. Some of the cheaper stuff just turned into a runny mess.
