My old boss swore by using ATF and acetone for seized bolts, so I tried it on a rusted exhaust manifold last week.
Three hours of soaking and a breaker bar later, every single stud came out clean without snapping, but now I'm wondering if I just got lucky or if that mix actually works that well for everyone.

Had a buddy who used that same mix on a lawnmower engine bolt, let it sit overnight. Thing came out so easy he swore the rust just gave up and left. Now he puts it on every stuck thing he finds, even door hinges.

Watched a dude on YouTube soak a rusty caliper bracket in that mix for 20 minutes and it broke free like butter. I've had the same luck with it on trailer hitch bolts that looked worse than yours.
