My buddy in the shop said to always check the ground strap first on a 2015 F150 with weird electrical gremlins. He was spot on.

Had a similar thing with my old Silverado. The ground cable looked fine but was totally corroded under the insulation.

Yeah, hidden corrosion under the insulation is a classic truck killer.
