Chased a parasitic drain on a 2010 Civic for three days straight

Turned out to be the glove box light staying on from a broken plunger switch. Took me about 18 hours of testing before I even thought to check something that simple. Anyone else had a fix that simple hide from you for way too long?

Ha! Well at least your car didn't charge you rent for the glove box light.

Wonder if we're overthinking this a bit. It's just a light bulb, not a mortgage payment. Pop a new bulb in there for a couple bucks and call it done.
