Appreciation post: Swapped to a ratcheting wrench and it changed my life
I spent three years fighting with a standard combination wrench on rusty exhaust bolts in my little garage here in Phoenix. Picked up a set of Gearwrench ratcheting wrenches from the truck last Tuesday and got through a job in half the normal time. Anyone else make a simple tool swap that made that big of a difference?

Changed my life" is a bit much for a wrench swap. I get that ratcheting ones are nice but they can be a pain in tight spots where you don't have the clearance to flip them over. I'd rather just use a regular wrench and a little patience than get stuck cussing at a ratcheting one that won't budge. Plus those gearwrench sets are pricey and I've heard of the mechanism failing after a few hard jobs.
