Went to a salvage yard in Boise and noticed something about their door skins

Stopped by a pick-n-pull outside Boise last weekend for a fender and ended up spending an hour just looking at how they store their door skins. They had a whole rack of them organized by make and model, not color, and it hit me that I should start doing that with my own inventory. I always stack mine by shade, which makes sense until someone comes in needing a match for a 2012 silver Toyota. Has anyone else tried sorting by model instead, or am I overthinking my storage setup?
