Went to a Denver shop and their paint booth setup made no sense

Stopped by a friend's place off I-25 last week and they keep their bake lamps right next to the mixing station. Every car that comes out has nibs because the dust from stirring paint lands right on fresh clear. I told them to move the rack 10 feet and they laughed it off. Am I the only one who thinks airflow layout matters more than buying a fancier gun?
