The shop owner said we had to start using the new clear coat system by Monday.
Used to mix and spray the old stuff by eye, but now it's all exact ratios from a machine. Had a 2018 F-150 hood come back with a haze last month because the mix was off by maybe 2%. Anyone else's shop get forced into this kind of change?

Our shop in Dayton switched to a similar system last year. The machine is supposed to be foolproof, but if the base coat isn't perfect, the clear still fails. It feels like they're taking the craft out of it, but I guess we have to adapt.
