The paint booth door that ate my lunch on a Tuesday in Tulsa

Was spraying a 2017 F-150 last week, about halfway through the clear coat, when the booth door latch just snapped clean off. The door swung open and a gust of dust blew right across the fresh paint, looked like a snow globe in there. Took me 2 hours and an extra quart of clear to sand down and recoat the whole driver side. Anyone else had a booth door fail on them mid job, and how do you keep the dust from settling while you fix it?

I read about a guy in a forum who said he keeps a roll of 4 mil plastic and a battery powered leaf blower in the booth for exactly this. He just covers the whole open doorway with the plastic and tapes it down, then runs the blower on low for a few minutes to push the dust out before he starts sanding. It's not perfect, but it beats watching your clear coat turn into a texture job. The latch snapping though, that is just bad luck timing.
