Shop foreman said to wet sand the clear coat edges before buffing, and it saved my bacon on a black Subaru
I used to dry sand right up to the edge and burn through on every dark car. He told me 1500 grit wet with a drop of dish soap, keep it flat, and the blend disappears. Cut my redo rate way down since March. Anybody got a grit they like better for tri-coat pearls?
