PSA: Stop using Bondo on plastic bumper cracks like it's a permanent fix
I see so many guys at my shop in Phoenix just slapping filler on cracked plastic bumpers and calling it a day. Did a warranty repair last week on a 2020 Civic where the previous shop did exactly that and the whole repair cracked apart after 3 months. Plastic needs a proper plastic welder or at least a two-part epoxy made for TPO, not body filler that will just pop off. Anyone else dealing with comeback repairs from this?

Learned that lesson the hard way on my own car last year. Spent a whole weekend sanding and filling a crack on my old Altima only to watch it spiderweb apart the first time the sun hit it. Now I just tell people to save themselves the trouble and do it right the first time.
