Had a 2019 F-150 come in Monday that turned a normal 3 day job into 9 days
Customer sideswiped a pole and I quoted 3 days for the bedside and door skin, but once I got the inner panel off I found about $1,200 of hidden frame damage the insurance adjuster never caught. Spent the rest of the week pulling it straight on the frame rack and fighting with the adjuster for a supplement while the customer kept calling every morning asking when it'd be done. How do you all handle it when the hidden damage blows up your timeline, do you call the customer first or wait till the supplement clears?
