Found a new trick for Honda bumper clips that saved me 30 mins
I was swapping out a front bumper on a 2018 Civic today and those stupid clips were fighting me as usual... then a guy at the auto parts store told me to spray them with a little WD-40 before prying them off. It worked like a charm and I finished the job in half the usual time. Has anyone else tried this or got a better method for those plastic clips?

You tried WD-40 on bumper clips? Works good for a quick job. Heat gun works better though. Warm up the plastic clip for about ten seconds and it pops right out without breaking. I keep a cheap hair dryer in my tool box just for this. Saves way more time than spraying and waiting.

Hold on @eva_gibson, are we really that worried about popping out a plastic clip that it needs its own dedicated tool? A hair dryer in the toolbox feels a bit much for something that takes thirty seconds with a flathead screwdriver. I just yank the thing out and buy a pack of replacements for five bucks.
