One review about my lawn service prices changed how I bid jobs
A customer in Decatur left a 2-star review saying I charged $85 but used the same cheap mulch from Home Depot as everyone else. They wanted to know what made my service different. I started using double shredded hardwood mulch from Pine Straw Depot off Memorial Drive and now I write the brand right on the estimate. Has anyone else tweaked their supplies after getting picked apart in a review?

Pine Straw Depot on Memorial is solid, good call putting the brand on the estimate. I got hit with something similar two years back, lady said my trim work looked "rushed" for $120. Turned out she was right, I was using a cheap string trimmer with dull line and it left ragged edges. Switched to a better brand and started listing the actual spec on the quote, like "Stihl trimmer, sharpened blade, edge cleanup included." Calls got easier because people stopped guessing what they were paying for. Naming the exact product takes the mystery out of it and the ones who care about quality will pay for it. The ones who don't were never gonna be good customers anyway.
