Guy at the Home Depot on Ponce said something about my plumber that I can't shake
I was picking up a wax ring last Saturday and the guy in the plumbing aisle asked who was doing my install. I said I always just call the same guy, and he goes "does he pull a permit or just tell you it's not needed?" I never once thought to ask that in 6 years of using him. Turns out my last water heater swap in Decatur had no permit on file. Now I'm wondering how often people actually check this stuff before they hand over $400 for a quick fix.
