Why does nobody talk about how expensive HOA fees are getting in Atlanta?

I was looking at a house in Decatur last weekend and the HOA was $450 a month! I thought that was a typo until I called the management company and they confirmed it. Turns out that includes trash and landscaping but still, that's more than my car payment. Has anyone else run into crazy HOA fees around town?

Yo, that's rough. $450 a month is insane, I feel for you. In my experience, those fees can catch you off guard if you're not looking super close.

Same here man, I once signed up for a "free trial" and forgot to cancel, ended up paying $200 for some app I never opened. Made me feel real clever, lol. At least now I triple check every subscription before my wallet gets another surprise.
