Waited 4 months for a plumber to fix a simple leak under my sink
Found a slow drip under the kitchen sink back in March, called three different plumbers, and the soonest anyone could come was July. Guy shows up, tightens one fitting with a wrench in 20 seconds, and charges me $150 for the service call. Anyone else have a hard time finding a plumber who actually shows up on time around here?

Hate hearing that... 4 months is ridiculous for something that simple. I had a similar thing last year with a toilet that kept running. Guy finally came, jiggled the flapper for like 10 seconds, charged me 125 bucks. I get they're busy but it feels like a racket sometimes. I started watching YouTube tutorials for basic stuff after that, saved me a ton of money and frustration.

Right?! Total racket. I waited 3 months for a guy who just flipped a breaker back on.
