Contractor told me my 20 year old driveway was a tear out, got a second look and saved $6,800
Got a quote to tear out and repour my whole driveway in Smyrna back in March. Guy said the cracks meant the base was gone. $9,200. I almost signed it. My neighbor told me to call a concrete guy he uses who actually walked the slab with me for 40 minutes. He said 80 percent of it was fine, just needed the joints cleaned and a $2,400 overlay on the bad section. Did that instead. Six months later it still looks good, no new cracks. Has anyone else gotten a full tear out quote that turned out to be way overkill?
