Spent 2 hours trying to get the moon to not look like a glowing blob through my telescope
I got my first real telescope last month, a Celestron 130SLT, and every single moon picture came out looking like a blurry white blob. Turns out I needed to drop my exposure time way down like to 1/500th of a second instead of what the camera auto set, and also use a moon filter. It took me literally 2 hours of fiddling and getting frustrated before I watched a quick YouTube video that showed those exact settings. Anyone else waste a ton of time on something that simple?

Did you try adjusting the focus knob or was it strictly the exposure and filter trick?
